KIJK Shorts is a vertical strand announced by KIJK, the free ad-supported streaming service of Talpa Network in the Netherlands. Talpa announced it on 2 September 2026 for launch in early 2027. It is described as a new environment within the existing KIJK service rather than a standalone application, carrying short vertical series free of charge in Dutch. The slate combines new drama and reality originals with titles from the Talpa library. The first production is Code Rood, a medical microdrama with Carolien Spoor, Thijs Boermans, Juvat Westendorp and Bertrie Wierenga. Mo Cornelisz is head of KIJK and Marlies Huisman is head of drama. Talpa said KIJK is seeking collaboration with creators for new stories and formats, and with brands for branded formats. No budget, episode count or launch date beyond early 2027 was disclosed.
