LoveHit is a Los Angeles studio producing vertical short series, led by chief executive Lenny Levi, previously at Sony Pictures Entertainment, CBS Television Studios, Paramount Television Studios and Riot Games. Its slate is drawn entirely from public-domain novels, which removes underlying rights costs: launch titles adapt Wuthering Heights, Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, The Great Gatsby and Beauty and the Beast, with Dangerous Liaisons, The Scarlet Letter and Les Miserables in post-production. Eric Roberts appears in Jane Eyre alongside performers who work regularly in the vertical format. Each production is shot twice over, yielding roughly 50 vertical episodes of one to three minutes and a 90-minute horizontal feature; the studio said it will take the features to buyers at MIPCOM in Cannes from 12 to 15 October 2026. Distribution is through the company's own app rather than a third-party platform. The company described itself as privately financed by a group of investors and disclosed no amount, no round type and no investor names. Its corporate ownership is not disclosed: the address on the Google Play developer record is a Delaware agent address, and the company's website names no legal entity or officers. Deadline reported the launch.
