LoveHit, a Los Angeles studio producing vertical short series, launched publicly on 7 September 2026, Deadline reported. The chief executive is Lenny Levi, previously at Sony Pictures Entertainment, CBS Television Studios, Paramount Television Studios and Riot Games.
The slate is drawn entirely from public-domain novels, which removes underlying rights costs. Launch titles are adaptations of Wuthering Heights, Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, The Great Gatsby and Beauty and the Beast, with Dangerous Liaisons, The Scarlet Letter and Les Miserables in post-production. Eric Roberts appears in Jane Eyre.
Each production is shot twice over: as roughly 50 vertical episodes of one to three minutes, and as a 90-minute horizontal feature. The company said it will take the features to buyers at MIPCOM in Cannes from 12 to 15 October 2026.
Distribution is through the company's own app, listed on the App Store and Google Play with an original release date of 4 June 2026 and subscription tiers at $19.99 weekly, $59.99 monthly and $149.99 annually. The app supports English only.
The company described itself as privately financed by a group of investors. It disclosed no amount, no round type and no investor names.
