Sweetz prices on flat subscriptions, not episode unlocks, and lists beyond France
The French microdrama app sells weekly and yearly passes from 4.99 euros rather than the per-episode coin purchases used by the largest Chinese-owned apps. Its App Store listing is also live in Germany and the United States.
What this basis means: Disclosed by the company about itself, and not independently confirmed.
Sweetz, the French microdrama app from Nation and Kovalee, monetises through flat subscription passes rather than the per-episode coin purchases that underpin the largest Chinese-owned apps in the category.
The App Store listing shows a free download with in-app purchases priced as weekly tiers at 4.99 euros and 6.99 euros and yearly tiers at 39.99 euros and 49.99 euros, alongside a yearly tier with a seven-day trial at 59.99 euros. Duplicate tier names at different prices indicate price testing. No coin, token or episode-unlock tier appears in the listing, though Apple truncates long in-app purchase lists, so the published list is not necessarily complete. The companies had disclosed no monetisation model when the app was announced.
The listing is also live in the German and United States storefronts, where it appears in English as Sweetz - Original Drama Shorts. The French listing holds 14 ratings.
The developer account behind the app publishes 20 titles, 16 of them under Kovalee bundle identifiers. The other 19 are consumer wellness, habit and utility subscription apps, among them 75 Day Challenge, WaterGoal and Quit Smoking. Sweetz is the account's first entertainment title.
