DramaWave led August short-drama downloads, DramaBox led revenue
Insightrackr's monthly ranking of overseas short-drama apps put DramaWave first by downloads and DramaBox first by revenue for August 2026. Coin Drama rose twenty places. No European app appears in either top fifteen.

DramaWave led overseas short-drama app downloads in August 2026, and DramaBox led revenue, according to monthly rankings published by Insightrackr on 4 September 2026.
Insightrackr put DramaWave first by downloads, up 48.2% on July, followed by ReelShort (+2.6%), NetShort (-1.6%) and DramaBox (+6.5%). The sharpest move in the download table came from Coin Drama, which Insightrackr recorded up 236.4% month on month and twenty places, to ninth.
On revenue, Insightrackr placed DramaBox first, up 28.8%, ahead of NetShort (+24.3%) and DramaWave (+44.3%).
The figures are modelled estimates of downloads and of revenue from in-app purchases and in-app advertising, covering 1 to 28 August 2026. They are a single vendor's estimates, and the download and revenue tables are not independent of one another.
No European app appears in either the download or the revenue top fifteen.
