Sweetz

Sweetz is a French microdrama application published jointly by Nation, a French studio working with AI production tools, and Kovalee, a Paris-based mobile app publisher. It is listed on the French App Store as Sweetz - Short Drama Francais and in the German and United States stores as Sweetz - Original Drama Shorts, carrying short vertical episodes across romance, thriller, reality and dating. The App Store gives an original release date of 14 April 2026 and a most recent version, 1.1.5, dated 31 August 2026; the companies announced a move out of beta to a full iOS release on 3 September 2026. The app monetises through flat subscription passes rather than per-episode coin purchases. The French listing carries 14 ratings. The developer account publishes 20 titles, 16 under Kovalee bundle identifiers, the other 19 being consumer wellness, habit and utility subscription apps; Sweetz is the account's first entertainment title. The launch was accompanied by a seed round of more than 1m euros ($1.1m), raised from established media and audiovisual companies rather than financial investors; M6 Group, the French commercial broadcaster, was named among the backers. No lead investor was disclosed, and the companies did not state whether any part of the round was non-dilutive. No download or subscriber figure has been disclosed. The app was not present in Insightrackr's top fifteen overseas short-drama apps by downloads or by revenue for August 2026.
