COL Group's FlareFlow launches on Whale TV sets in South America

TV operating-system maker Whale TV said FlareFlow, COL Group's international microdrama platform, is now available on Whale TV-enabled televisions in South America.

What this basis means: Disclosed by the company about itself, and not independently confirmed.

Whale TV, a Singapore-based independent maker of television operating systems, announced on 9 September 2026 that FlareFlow, the international microdrama platform of Chinese digital-publishing group COL Group, had launched on Whale TV-enabled televisions in South America. Whale TV described it as the first time microdramas had reached TV screens in the region.

According to the release, FlareFlow has more than 52 million registered users and nearly 7,000 short-drama titles, and reaches more than 200 countries and regions. All figures are company-claimed.

The move takes microdrama, a format built for phones, onto connected TVs.
