Hong Kong freight forwarder Globavend enters micro-drama with Loomi acquisition

Globavend Holdings Limited, a Cayman Islands company whose operations are substantially in Hong Kong and whose SEC industry classification is arrangement of transportation of freight and cargo, disclosed the terms of its move into digital entertainment in a Form F-1 registration statement filed on 14 July 2026.

The company states that since May 2026, on acquiring majority equity interests in Loomi Group, it commenced a digital entertainment business through Loomi Hong Kong Company Limited. The product is a mobile application, Loomi: Short Drama, serving audiences in Southeast Asia with professionally produced multilingual micro drama series in Korean, Mandarin and English. The group has also developed Imaginary, a proprietary AI content-creation platform offering end-to-end cinematic production, generating character designs, storyboards, cinematic sequences and motion sequences from user prompts to produce micro dramas and animations.

Monetisation is described as membership revenue plus online advertising, including branded content advertisements, the production of dedicated branded micro drama series, and in-app blended advertisements.

Group revenue for the fiscal years ended 30 September was $18,586,528 in 2023, $16,540,179 in 2024 and $23,563,957 in 2025. None of those figures includes micro-drama revenue, because the Loomi acquisition closed in May 2026, after all three periods ended. The F-1 is a resale registration covering shares issuable under a standby equity purchase agreement of up to $20m over 36 months; the company states it is not selling securities under the prospectus and will receive no proceeds from it.
