Great American Media said on 21 September 2026 that it had expanded its partnership with Minivela to develop Pure Flix Familia, a streaming service for Latino families. The service is scheduled to launch in early October with Spanish-language entertainment, and the company said it will expand over time to include bilingual and English-language programming.
Under the expanded arrangement, Minivela will help develop original movies, series and mobile-first microdramas, identify content and acquisition opportunities, cultivate Latino talent, and advise on programming, social media and community partnerships. The companies' earlier relationship had been focused only on producing mobile-first microdramas for US Hispanic and Latin American audiences.
