Pixie USA, the company run by Jonas Barnes, is launching Christmas at Maple Hollow Inn as one of the first microdramas to use Meta's new Series tool, Deadline reported on 6 November 2026. Series lets selected creators bundle vertical Reels videos into episodes on Facebook and Instagram. According to Deadline, Meta is due to launch it in certain markets on 16 November. Meta did not comment on individual titles.
The holiday romance stars Analisa Southworth Wall and Thomas King, is directed by Blake Studwell and produced by Michael Sokol. It was filmed in Marietta, Georgia, and runs to 20 episodes with a total running time of 38 minutes. It launches on 14 November and will also be distributed on YouTube and TikTok.
The series was developed with the grocery brand Bob Evans, whose holiday meals feature in the story. Bob Evans Farms chief marketing officer Ciare James said the microdrama "brings our brand story to life". It is the brand's first scripted holiday production. Barnes previously made The Golden Pear Affair, a microdrama for Procter & Gamble.
