VeYou brings a premium vertical platform to Europe with S32 backing

VeYou, a vertical platform launched in April 2026 by the producer Tommy Harper, whose credits include Top Gun: Maverick and Star Wars: The Force Awakens, is live in the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, Latin America and MENA. Its lead investor is S32, the venture firm associated with Bill Maris, previously of Google Ventures.
The company positions the service as the "HBO of vertical": licensed quality titles alongside AI-assisted originals produced through Tiny Verticals at $100-250k a series. The positioning and the budget range are company-claimed.
VeYou is the premium counter-model to the coin-priced Chinese apps, and it is the first of that model to combine institutional venture money with a European footprint.
