Peacock commissions original vertical drama and licenses from ReelShort

Two Bravo-branded titles run to roughly 60 episodes of 60 to 90 seconds, exclusive to the app, and Peacock has licensed a package from ReelShort, per trade reports.

What this basis means: Disclosed by the company about itself, and not independently confirmed.

Peacock is reported to have commissioned original vertical microdrama rather than only repackaging catalogue clips. Two Bravo-branded titles, Salon Confessionals and Campus Confidential: Miami, run to roughly 60 episodes of 60 to 90 seconds each and are exclusive to the app. Peacock has also licensed a package from ReelShort, which would make it the first major US streamer to treat a microdrama-native platform as a supplier. Both points rest on trade reporting rather than a primary document.

Paramount+ has separately been reported as testing vertical microdrama, described at a company town hall on 22 July and reported by The Desk on 24 July.
