Mansa launches three vertical series on TikTok Minis

Deadline reported on 2 September that the streaming platform co-founded by David Oyelowo and Nate Parker had placed three vertical titles on TikTok's Minis surface, its first launch there. No release dates were given.

What this basis means: Reported by a named news outlet, and traceable to neither a filing, a research vendor, nor the company itself.

Mansa, the US streaming platform built around content by and for Black creators and audiences, has launched three vertical drama series directly on TikTok Minis, Deadline reported on 2 September 2026 in a story it labelled an exclusive.

The titles are My Twin Sister Stole My Man, described as a drama about betrayal, identity and family ties; I Married the King of the Streets, a romance set in a dangerous world; and The Love Contract, in which an arranged agreement becomes a real relationship. Deadline reported that the launch follows months of collaboration with TikTok's team and marks the first time Mansa shows have appeared on the platform.

Nate Parker is described as co-founder and chief executive of Mansa; David Oyelowo is the other named principal. The report gives no release dates, names no financier and identifies no corporate entity, and discloses no audience, viewing, revenue or funding figures. Mansa announced a slate of ten original microdrama series earlier in 2026, and has a theatrical relationship with AMC Theatres. No other trade outlet has carried the story.
