Former Amazon Studios head Roy Price launches vertical platform N1BW

The web-based service takes user-uploaded vertical series, pays creators a stated 70% revenue share, and carries a slate that appears to be AI-generated. No funding was disclosed.

Roy Price, who ran Amazon Studios until 2017, has launched N1BW, a web platform for vertical series. The Hollywood Reporter reported the launch on 27 August 2026; the site went live around 24 August.

N1BW is a website rather than an app. Users upload their own vertical series, and the site combines this with a crew-matchmaking directory and production workflow tools; Price has described the model as a combination of a microdrama app, a video-sharing service and a crew-hiring board. Viewers unlock series or individual episodes with tokens. The site states that creators "earn 70% of the revenue", retain film and television rights, and may sell project rights to third parties.

The titles listed at launch, among them Bad Gods, Ashes, Horrorwood and Beneath The Old Moon, appear to be AI-generated. Engagement indicators shown on the site are low: interest counts on the fourteen trailers listed ranged from zero to three. No funding round, investor or valuation has been disclosed for the platform.
