JLA Play, the vertical-series platform launched by JLA Groupe in early October 2026, has agreed a partnership with DramaBox under which it will add about 30 DramaBox series to its catalogue, Ecran Total reported on 27 October 2026.
The titles are mainly romantic comedies and series. JLA Groupe said the aim is to become the first independent French player in vertical fiction. For DramaBox, the Singapore-based company, the deal opens the French market.
Jean-Luc Azoulay, chief executive of JLA Groupe, said the agreement would help JLA Play accelerate growth with a broader range of new series. DramaBox chief executive Ruiqing Chen said the company was proud to introduce French audiences to traditional microdrama.
The report gave no financial terms, exclusivity details, audience figures or launch date for the new titles.
