New Short Media, the Los Angeles vertical content studio founded in July by producers Alon Shtruzman and Scott Einbinder, has wrapped production on It's My Party & I'll Die If I Want To, C21Media reported on 28 October 2026.

The horror-comedy was created by Gev Miron and Charlie Parker. The story follows a woman who tries to hide the truth about her best friend's death on the night of her 21st birthday. Eric Roberts, Merrick Hanna and Neela Jolene star.

The project exists in two versions: a vertical episodic series designed for mobile phones and a horizontal movie intended for theatrical release. C21Media said the studio sees vertical and traditional content as distinct viewing experiences built from the same underlying story and IP.

The studio describes its first slate as about 10 projects across action, romance, thriller, comedy and docu-reality. The report names no platform, distributor or financing for the series or the film.
