India's One Life Studios licenses 60 titles; The Daily Show goes vertical

The Mumbai studio licensed 60 microdramas from a 500-plus catalogue to three Southeast Asian platforms on 22 July. Paramount confirmed a Daily Show microdrama on 21 July.

What this basis means: Disclosed by the company about itself, and not independently confirmed.

One Life Studios, the Mumbai company led by chief executive Siddharth Kumar Tewary, licensed 60 microdramas from its catalogue of more than 500 titles to three Southeast Asian platforms on 22 July. The deal is part of a tenth-anniversary expansion that builds on earlier agreements in Vietnam, Ghana, Cambodia and Indonesia.

Separately, The Daily Show and Comedy Central, both part of Paramount, announced on 21 July their first microdrama series: "The Daily Show Presents: Two Billionaires Fight to Dominate the Country… And My Heart!", a political satire aimed at technology billionaires. Paramount Press Express carried the announcement.
