RisingJoy distributes its RJOY microdrama service inside TikTok Minis

The Singapore company launched in the United States and Japan without a standalone app, and has branded-service deals with Astro and Sooka in Malaysia and the IDN App in Indonesia.

Singapore-based RisingJoy, led by chief executive and co-founder Cassandra Yang, launched its RJOY microdrama service around 16 June 2026, unveiled at the APOS conference in Bali. It went live first in the United States and Japan, distributed inside TikTok Minis rather than as a standalone app download, with 20 originals planned for the second half of 2026 and a launch slate of AI anime and AI human formats.

Branded-service deals with Astro and Sooka in Malaysia and with the IDN App in Indonesia take its presence to four markets.

The launch was reported by Variety, Deadline, C21Media and Advanced Television, and by Astro in its own company announcement.

RJOY is a microdrama service distributed inside an existing large app rather than through a separate install.
