KiKA and MDR to release two vertical Schloss Einstein spin-offs
The German public broadcasters' children's channel and MDR will publish two ten-episode vertical series on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube in spring, as prequels to the show's 30th season.
What this basis means: Reported by a named news outlet, and traceable to neither a filing, a research vendor, nor the company itself.
KiKA and MDR are expanding the long-running children's series Schloss Einstein with two vertical social-media spin-offs, turi2 reported on 26 October 2026. The series are titled No Secrets? and Overload.
Both consist of ten episodes of about one minute each. They are due to be published in spring on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, and serve as prequels to season 30 of the main series. Overload centres on a rivalry between friends. Filming has already finished.
The report gave no budget, exact release date or platform exclusivity. KiKA is the children's channel run by the German public broadcasters ARD and ZDF, and MDR is the ARD broadcaster for central Germany.
