Christian Rohde, managing director of UFA, has taken the additional title of chief transformation and AI officer, the German trade outlet DWDL reported on 23 September 2026. According to the report, Rohde is building a central structure for new business at the production company and is already recruiting specialists to develop fields including branded entertainment, live entertainment, vertical content and gaming, with the aim of generating rights owned by UFA. The report also covered the launch of an AI chatbot for UFA staff.

UFA said earlier in September that it was developing vertical microdrama around its German daily dramas.
